Medication & Equipment Inventory

Usually, doctors can view medication and equipment availability.

Accessing Inventory

• Click the tablet / pill icon OR
• From within a report, choose Inventory

Finding items

You can:

• Search by generic name
• Browse by category (left-hand side)

Browsing is often helpful, as medical nomenclature can be confusing.

Item Details & Locations

When selecting a medicament or item, you will see:

• Required stock level
• Actual stock on board
• Storage location (under Batches)

Location codes

• H – Hospital
• L – Locker
• D – Drawer
• B – Box

Examples

• Adrenaline: Crash kit / hospital fridge
• MD – Medical Department
• R – Reception
• CK – Crash kit
• BS – Bookshelf
• SB – Stitch box
• OX – Oxygen bag
