General Settings
General Settings
General Settings control the application appearance, authentication options, license state, synchronisation activity and version information.

Required permission
You need:
- Access Settings Module (
settings-access) - Manage General Settings (
settings-general)
Open General Settings
- Open Settings.
- Select General.
Change the login picture or logos
- Open Settings > General.
- In Appearance, choose the upload area for the item you want to replace:
- Login picture
- SVG Logo
- PNG Logo
- Select or drop the new image file.
- Select Upload new pictures.
- Refresh the relevant page if the old image is still cached in your browser.
Change authentication settings
- Open Settings > General.
- Go to Security.
- Under Cloud security options, switch on or off:
- Require Two-Factor authentication
- One Time Password
- Under Vessel security options, switch on or off:
- Require Two-Factor authentication
- One Time Password
- Changes are saved automatically when you change a toggle.
When two-factor authentication is required and one-time passwords are disabled, users must use passkeys.
Check the license status
- Open Settings > General.
- Go to License & Console.
- Review the current status, configured token state, last check, expiry date and licensed modules.
- Select Check license status to run a license check.
- Wait for the page to update.
Only manage the Console API token if you have been instructed to do so by the system administrator or Off Canvas support.
Sync available console data
- Open Settings > General.
- Go to License & Console.
- Select Sync all available data.
- Wait until the sync completes.
- Review Last data check status and any warning shown on the page.
View synchronisation activity
- Open Settings > General.
- Go to Synchronisation.
- Select Show activity.
- Use the activity page to review recent synchronisation activity.

Review version and support details
- Open Settings > General.
- Go to About.
- Check the installed version and issue date.
- Select E-mail support to start a support e-mail that includes the vessel and version details.
