Use Accounts > Users to create users,Marlinspike edit account details, assign rolesaccounts and archivedecide orwhat restoreeach accounts.person can access.

Opening Users
Open Settings.
CreateCreating a user
OpenSettings > Accounts > Users.SelectClick New user.
Fill in the user's name and e-mail address. The e-mail address is also used as the username.
You can also fill in a Reply-to address. This is used when mail sent by the user
details.should - receive replies at a different address.
Enter a password for the user.
Choose the
accountroles for the user. Roles decide which modules andauthenticationactionsoptionstheshownuser can access.Switch on Cloud access enabled if this user may log in through cloud access.
Switch on E-mail details to the
form.new user if Marlinspike should send the login details by e-mail.Click Create user.
Standard initials
A user can be linked to standard initials.
Switch on Enable standard initials when the user should have initials available for forms and records.
You can either:
- create initials based on the user's name
Assignselect an existing initial
Editing a user
Open the user from the Users list.
You can edit:
- first name
- prefix
- last name
- reply-to address
- password
- roles
- standard initials
- cloud access
Click Save changes when you are done.
Roles
Roles are the most important part of a user account.
A user can have one or more
rolesroles.ifThethepermissionsforminsideoffers role selection. SelectSaveorCreate.Confirm that the user appears in the users list.
Edit a user
OpenSettings > Accounts > Users.Find the user in the list.Select the edit action for that user.Update the account details, personal details or role assignments.SelectSave.
Change a user's roles
OpenSettings > Accounts > Users.Open the user you want to change.Add or removethose rolesin the roles section.Save the user.
Roles controldecide what the user can seeview, andcreate, do.update, Changesapprove canor affect access immediately after the next page load.delete.
Archive
If a user
- cannot
OpenseeSettingsa>moduleAccountsor>button,Users.Findcheck the roles first.Archiving a user
Use the delete action on a user to archive the account.
Archived users no longer appear in the active
usersuser list.SelectRestoring a user
Open the
delete or archive action.Confirm the action.
Archived users are removed from the active list but can be reviewed from the archiveArchive tab.
Restore an archived user
OpenSettings > Accounts > Users.SelectArchive.Find the archived
user.user Selectand click Restore.Confirm that the user is back in the active users list.
