Budget allocation is used to enter the planned budget amount for each budget code and year.

Allocate a Budget

Open Budgets > Budget allocation.

Enter the budget amount for the relevant year and budget code.

Only future and current allocation fields that are editable for your permissions can be changed.

Archived Budget Codes

Use Show archived budget codes when you need to review or update older budget codes.

Archived budget codes are normally hidden from daily use.

Managing Budget Codes

Users with budget management permission can edit the budget code list.

Budget codes normally contain:

  • Budget code
  • Budget title

Budget codes are then used when creating or editing purchasing documents.
